Empowering through education.

From budgeting basics to financial literacy, we’re committed to helping our members and our communities through education. Have an idea for a program or event in your area? Contact us and let us know if we can help.

Biz Kid$ is a national financial literacy initiative that receives funding through a grant from the National Credit Union Foundation.

The program includes videos, lesson plans and more. Visit BizKids.com to learn more, or contact Karen at ktegeler@DuTrac.org  or (563) 585-8584.

DuTrac’s financial literacy fair utilizes 13 different “booths” with DuTrac staff at each booth to assist students in making decisions based on their income, real-life anticipated expenses and works within a budget framework we help students develop.

This event teaches students how to budget for making on-time, monthly payments after they are out of high school. It will also provide hands-on experience with writing checks, filling out a check register, balancing their checks and learning about loans, etc.

For more information, contact Karen at ktegeler@DuTrac.org or (563) 585-8584.
